Week 21/22

Maternity clothes? Still wearing both. Tomorrow I have to go buy some new scrubs, getting a little uncomfortable around my growing belly.

Sleep? No problems in this department. Waking up less frequently to go to bathroom. Loving my snoogle pregnancy pillow....Uma loves it too, when I work she sleeps with snoogle :)

Best moment this week? Recognizing movement of Brennen. Best feeling in the world. Love love love him!

Miss anything? Miss my energy level. Just can't seem to accomplish nearly as much as I'm use to.

Movement? Yes!!!!!

Happy or Moody? Happy! Loving this journey.

Stretch Marks? None! Thanks to Burt's Bees mama belly butter. Need a new jar soon!

Looking forward to? Working in nursery. Crib, dresser, and chest are set up. Waiting on delivery of hutch for dresser and rocker/ottoman from Gram Glo! Bedding is washed and ready to go (Thanks to Auntie Mary & Mrs. Barb). I love to decorate and can't get enough time being in the nursery!

Please excuse the wet hair/pajama look! But I missed last week and needed to get my blog on!

Week 20. Half way there!

Maternity Clothes? Little of both. Today I wore a pair of maternity jeans from my sister in law that I just love. Recently ordered a couple maternity sweaters for our trip to Michigan this winter.

Sleep? Still waking up at least every 4 hours to go pee. Been getting heartburn so bad at bedtime. But sill managing to get plenty of sleep!

Best Moment this week? Finishing painting nursery. Also, today I received a shipment of nursery gifts from Auntie Mary & Mrs. Barb! Love love love!

Miss anything? Being able to go go go. I find myself tiring out very quickly now in days.

Movement? Still unsure. My MD said I should definitely be feeling movement within the next couple weeks. She thinks I've felt it, just not realizing it yet. Anxiously waiting!

Gender? Brennen Anthony Candusso

Happy or Moody? Happy as ever! I have moments, but over all I'm feeling overly excited!

Wedding rings on or off? Still on!

Stretch Marks! None! Still lathering up day and night with belly butter.

Looking forward to? Setting up nursery furniture next weekend and the start of decorating our LiL guys nursery.

Week 19

How far along? 19 weeks, 2days

Maternity Clothes? Considering it has been hot as hell, still rocking some of my pre-maternity dresses. Although I'm loving all pants with a stretchy band. It's all about comfort these days!

Sleep? Sleeping pretty good. Still up frequently for my bathroom visits. Having some awesome dreams about our baby boy :)

Best moment this week? Picking and buying our nursery paint color. We have most of our nursery furniture in boxes in the garage. Just waiting on the hutch and rocker to come in!

Miss anything? Not this week! Just missing my bestest friends and family from the Mitten!

Movement? I still am sooo unsure if I've felt the baby move. But I know he is moving bc our ultrasound proved that!

Gender? Picking out boy names. Still in the works!

Happy or Moody? Happy! I can't wait to be a Mommy!

Wedding ring on or off? Still ON! But I'm starting to swell already.

Stretch Marks? None! And hoping it stays this way.

Looking forward to? Daddy to be painting this weekend while I work. Setting up and decorating our LiL guys nursery!

Boy or Girl!?!? Week 18

How far along? 18 weeks, 2 days

Maternity clothes? Still wearing my pre maternity dresses. But when it comes to pants, maternity all the way! Just way more comfortable with this growing belly.

Sleep? Sleeping good. Making frequent trips to the bathroom. And changing positions often throughout night.

Best moment of the week? Having my Mom in Florida for the big gender reveal day........

Miss anything? Miss my brown bottle.

Movement? I don't think I have felt movement yet. The other night I thought I did, but kinda unsure!?

Food cravings? I haven't experienced any of the crazy cravings people claim to have. Still just eating for 2!

GENDER!?!? A mister is on the way!

Wedding rings on or off!? Still ON!

Happy or moody? Happy as ever! Loving every day of this awesome experience!

Stretch marks? Nada. Just received a new Mama Bee Belly Butter from my Mama. Still lathering up day and night!

Looking forward to? Registering at buy buy baby. Daddy painting the nursery. Picking up our baby furniture. And the best part decorating!!

Week 17

How far along? 17 weeks, 3 days

Maternity clothes? Just got my 1st shipment from old navy. Loving all my new maternity clothes! I think I'll be rocking a lot of leggings.

Sleep? Night shift has ruined my sleep. Waking up frequently to pee. Still loving my Snoogle!

Best moment of the week? Picking out nursery themes for a boy/girl. We keep changing our ideas. Deciding which spare room to use for nursery!

Miss anything? Same stuff. I really miss stomach sleeping.

Movement? Haven't felt anything yet. Eagerly awaiting!

Food cravings? Nothing really..eating like a champ!

Have you started to show yet? Yep! Getting large and in charge.

Gender? We find out September 28th. I can not wait.

Happy or Moody? Happy and so excited!

Looking forward to? Finding out gender of our baby. The anticipation is killing me. I'm also super excited to register and start working on the nursery.

Sleep?  Waking up every few hours to pee. In love with my Snoogle!
Best moment of the week? Hearing the baby's heartbeat again at MD appointment
Miss anything? Sleeping on my stomach and bud light in a bottle!
Movement? Haven't felt anything yet. Eagerly awaiting!
Food cravings? Nothing really...I just love to eat!
Have you started to show yet? Yep!
Gender? We find out September 28th. I can not wait. Team girl!!!

Happy or Moody? Happy, but I definitely have my moments. 
Looking forward to? Finding out gender of our baby. Shopping like a crazy lady. Shipment of our nursery furniture. 
Stretch Marks? Nope. Using Burt's Bees Mama Bee belly butter day and night. 


Today I spent 2 hours browsing in Buy Buy Baby! Super excited a store opened up close by. The nursery theme regardless of the baby's gender will be everything OWLS. I have fallen in love with a bedding set for a girl, still working on a boy set.  2 more weeks until we know the gender! TEAM GIRL! As much as I really want a baby girl, I will be happy with a healthy baby regardless if boy or girl! My Mom will be coming down to go to the anatomy appointment with us....we have a overly excited soon to be grandma on our hands. : )  If we have a girl, her name will be Isabella (?middle name?) Candusso. If we have a boy, his name will be (?first name?) Anthony Candusso.  As soon as we know the baby's gender, we will start working on our registry at Buy Buy Baby with the assistance of my Mom.  Even though I am OCD organized, and pretty much know exactly what I want!  
For all my Michigan family and friends, our baby shower will be December 22nd at noon.  We will be home visiting for Christmas from Dec 21-27! Can't wait to see you all! xoxo

We are pregnant!

Pinterest and my BFF Megan have inspired me to blog my pregnancy journey!

 I knew I was late for my period, but I kept delaying the fact because my BFF Mary was coming to visit for my birthday. We had a week of partying planned! 2 days prior to her arrival (June 24th), I took a pregnancy test and bam it was positive. My stomach dropped, as I sat there alone in the bathroom and started reading the directions to the test. Thinking I'm reading this wrong, I can't be pregnant. I wasn't suppose to get pregnant until August. I have a week of drinking planned and boat race weekend, which again is all about dranking!!! "shit, shit, fuck, damn, Anthonnnnyyyyy.". I ran to the kitchen, threw my hand up in the air with the positive test in hand. Looked at him and said "omg what the hell, this test is wrong, get your keys your driving me to cvs I need another test NOW!" He hugged me, happy as ever, as I still was in utter shock! That drive and line in cvs seemed never ending. Got back home, took 2 more tests, all POSITIVE!  This is the point reality set in and I realized OMG we are having a baby! 

Mary arrived June 26th, that day I saw my MD to confirm the pregnancy. Needless to stay I had the first ever sober bday since I was a child. We had a fabulous week and didn't have any hangovers. Another first for me and my BFF! 

After all the emotions of being shocked, happy, scared, and nervous it didn't take long to accept the fact we are having a baby. After all, this is what I've wanted since the day I married my best bud! Ant and I are overly excited for our new journey as parents. Baby Candusso is going to be one blessed child!
